I love trails or paths that beckon me to follow them somewhere peaceful. This painting captures that sense when seeing the ocean for the first time as you walk down a weathered boardwalk. I found this boardwalk with red flowers near Rosemary Beach on the pan-handle of Florida. —Larry Smith
